Project: RMS - Recruiting Management System
Client: USresources, Inc.

For this customer, ResQSoft built a comprehensive recruiting management solution, replacing the system formerly used by the company (WebHire). This was an intensive project which relied heavily on use of ResQSoft™ Engineer for creating the bulk of the application, which manages information about positions, candidates, resumes, and the recruiting process. The software includes significant workflow support and management reporting, as well as automatic resume search, and integration with Microsoft Exchange. RMS includes these functions:
  • Searchable job postings on web site
  • Resume submission / apply for job over the web
  • Resumes are automatically entered into a full-text searchable database
  • Simple and complex searching
  • Search results are prioritized by degree of fit
  • Click to display resume with search terms highlighted
  • 2-level workflow, with recruiters or HR assistants who identify job candidates and account reps or HR staffing specialists who actually review and propose candidates for a position
  • Flexible status structure supports background investigation processing and other phases of the hiring process
  • Jobs / Projects within Accounts / Divisions
  • Support for billing / invoicing
  • Informative management reports
  • Report writer capability

    The initial implementation was on a Linux server using Apache and Tomcat. A subsequent implementation / rehosting was performed to Windows 2000 Server for system administration reasons.
